Car-A-Van Ministry: FEEDING THE POOR EVERY SATURDAY

Our team collects food from Second Harvest Food Bank, Family Assistance Ministries, Albertson's and Trader Joe's. Every Saturday our TLC team goes out to HUD Government Assistant Housing and sets tables up and distributes food to the low income families. We then drive to two hotels where we know there are homeless families living and leave boxes of food for them. Our last stop is at Rite-Aid and we feed the day laborers who work so hard and try to support their families. All ages are welcome to join us on Saturdays. Meet at the church at 9:30 AM and we return about 11:30 AM, a great two hours of ministry. God does indeed call us to feed the poor.
